Who We Are
The company has specialized to combating nature’s aging process and reversing the effects of corrosion by a technique called Cathodic Protection. Since the days of Sir Humphrey Davy, almost 200 years ago, this technique has been developed into a well tried, proven and definitive science and is being widely used to control the ravages of both underground and underwater corrosion.
The broad range of expertise and services offered by the company include consultancy, developing ‘corrosion and protection’ schemes at the design stage, surveys, procurement of materials & equipment, installation and commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting and providing up-to-date information and advice.
We bring over 50 years of experience in the business having worked with many national and international oil and gas companies, fertilizer plants, refineries, LPG storage bullets and petroleum storage tanks. Our preference is to provide a single source turn-key solution including surveys, engineering, materials, procurement, installation, commissioning and hand over of the system. The customers are assured they will be given the keys to a reliable system that will over its lifetime design, generally +20 years. This experience is also useful in conducting and it surveys where customers are facing difficulties with maintaining a reliable system and where they are facing sustained corrosion leakage in their assets.

History
Total Energy Services Limited, incorporated in 1985 is a provider of Turn-key Cathodic Protection solutions that helps oil and gas companies, refineries and fertilizer plants protect their underground steel assets from corrosion and avoid expensive repairs and downtime. We are a term of professional engineers specializing in:
1. Engineering of Cathodic Protection Systems for buried pipelines including transmission and distribution networks, internal and external storage tanks bottoms, gas and oil well casings, and buried onshore and offshore structures that are subject to corrosion by the surrounding environment; 2. Supply of Components of Cathodic Protection Systems; 3. Training; 4. Various post-commissioning surveys for buried pipelines.

Mahbubur Rahman
Managing Director & CEO, Corrosion Engineer, MI Corr.T.
Mr. Mahbubur Rahman is the mastermind behind all the work we provide to our clients. He graduated from the UK in Corrosion Science and holds a M.Sc. degree in Corrosion Science from UMIST, UK. After working as a research assistant at UMIST, he moved on to start Total Energy Services Limited in Bangladesh in 1985. Over his career he has provided solutions to many international and national happy clients.
